Our
sports enhancement program has been
developed for athletes ages 14-17.
It is designed to help the individual
athlete improve his/her sports
performance, decrease the potential for
injury, and motivate through
education. This program can also
be adapted for teens needing to get
started on a fitness
program.
Each
sport has movement, strength, and
flexibility requirements specific to it;
and ever athlete has different strengths
and weaknesses, so an athlete's training
needs to be specific to the sport and to
his/her individual needs. The
focus of our sports enhancement program
is on improving the body's ability to
move. Fundamentals of speed
development, coordination, footwork, and
balance are addressed. Strength
training is properly introduced. Core
stability, explosive power, muscle
endurance, and functional strength are
all trained in detail.
Our
sports enhancement
program is designed and administered by
Physical Therapists that are certified
strength and conditioning specialists
through the National Strength and
Conditioning Association.
Athletes
will perform:

Speed,
agility and quickness training.

Balance
and coordination drills.

 |
Core
conditioning with medicine balls,
stability balls and tubing.
|
 |
Total
body strength and power
enhancement.
|
 |
Muscle
endurance training. |
Athletes
train for twelve sessions, over a four
to six week period.
Private
instruction also available.
